I also tend to move my stop to breakeven pretty quickly. Especially with USDJPY, it can reverse on you out of nowhere. Better to lock in something small than lose what you had. Going to bed now, hope it doesn't gap against me overnight...

Is anyone else seeing a potential head and shoulders forming on the H4 chart for USDJPY? Neckline around 157.80-ish... If it breaks, could be a good shorting opportunity. What's your take on this?

One thing I've learned the hard way is not to overtrade during news events. The volatility can really mess with your stop losses, especially with USDJPY. Even if you have a good setup, the whipsaws can take you out. Better to wait for the dust to settle and then reassess. Patience is key, especially with all this global uncertainty lately.

Closed my USDJPY long position just now. Small profit, like 20 pips. Should have held longer but scared of the news from Middle East. Going to bed now. Hope I don't wake up to a gap down.
