XAUUSD Live Price, Chart & Technical Analysis Guest

Weekend boredom setting in... Anyone else just staring at charts waiting for Monday open? I'm itching to see if gold gaps up or down. Been holding this position all week, hoping for a decent start to next week. Let's see what happens.

Thinking about tightening my stop loss a bit over the weekend. Don't want to get swept the lows if there's a surprise gap down on Monday. The weekly close wasn't bad, but still a bit nervous about potential volatility, especially with the news flow. Might just take some profit and reduce risk.

Given the current neutral trend and the RSI sitting at 66, I'm anticipating a bit of consolidation for XAUUSD at the beginning of next week. The 200-day SMA at 5192.82 could act as a significant resistance. I'll be watching for a potential breakout or a rejection around that level before making any major moves. A gap up is possible, but I'm not betting on it.

This week was a bit of a rollercoaster with XAUUSD! Managed to snag some profits early on riding the momentum, but then got caught in a whipsaw mid-week. Overall, still ended up in the green, but definitely could have been better. Need to be more patient next week and wait for clearer setups.

Friday's close felt a bit indecisive, didn't it? Holding above 5170 but the volume wasn't exactly screaming bullish continuation. Could be a setup for a gap up or down on Monday... who knows!
