XAUUSD Feb 19
Hi everyone! I'm still quite new to this, but looking at XAUUSD, it seems to be trending upwards? The SMA20 is below the current price, and the RSI isn't overbought, so maybe it has more room to grow. I'm thinking of placing a small buy order, but I'm also a bit nervous about the 5000 level. Any thoughts or advice?

Another thought... If XAUUSD does break above 5000, where do you think it might go next? Is there any way to estimate a good TP level based on the pivot points? R2 is at 4981.72, but that seems too close to the current price. Hmm... Maybe I'll just stick to demo trading for now, haha!

Update: Okay, so I did a little more reading on the Bollinger Bands, and it looks like the price is getting close to the upper band! Does that mean it's likely to reverse soon? I'm also seeing that the 200-day SMA is just above the current price... Does that act like resistance? Maybe I should wait and see if it breaks through that 5000 level first before buying. So much to learn!
