Looking at XAGUSD chart now, and this current consolidation around the 50-day SMA is making me think back to a trade I took last week. I went long near 80.50 expecting a bounce, but it just stalled out and then broke lower, hitting my SL. It's a good reminder that even when indicators seem to align, a lack of conviction in the price action itself can be a bearish signal. This choppy price action right now definitely feels similar, so I'm wary of jumping in too early.

Actually, seeing that failure to hold above the 20-day SMA is key. It reinforces my caution on chasing longs right now, especially with the overall trend still looking questionable.

Friday's action just confirmed that weakness, pushing us down towards the lower Bollinger band. It feels like the bears are firmly in control right now, and I wouldn't be surprised to see us test even lower levels next week unless there's some significant news to shift sentiment.
