When I'm scaling into a position, I usually start with a smaller chunk. If the trade goes my way, I add more on pullbacks, but never more than 20% of my initial size each time. Gotta keep some powder dry, right? And if it goes against me, I'm out quick. No point in doubling down on a losing trade. Gotta let the winners run and cut the losers fast.
