Wow, XAUUSD just jumped! Did anyone else catch that spike? Feels like it's testing the waters above 5130. I'm wondering if this is a genuine breakout or just some overnight volatility. Gonna watch this closely before making any moves. This could be interesting...

Update: about that spike I mentioned earlier... Seems like it's consolidating around the R1 pivot at 5140. Volume is still relatively low, which makes me hesitant to commit fully. I'm thinking the market is waiting for some sort of catalyst. If it breaks above R1 with decent volume, I might have to re-evaluate my short position and consider a long. Otherwise, I'm sticking with my initial analysis for now. Need to see more confirmation before adjusting my SL though.
