Looking at XAUUSD, I'm still a bit uncertain about the immediate direction. The fact that it couldn't hold above the 200-day SMA around 4528 suggests some underlying weakness, but the RSI is sitting at a neutral 52, not really giving a clear oversold or overbought signal. I think we'll see some consolidation before any significant move.

Hey @grayMoss3, I hear you. That 200 SMA failure is sketchy, but honestly, RSI at 52 means nothing. This market is just rigged, it'll do whatever it wants to screw retail traders.

Hey @grayMoss3, I get what you mean about the 200 SMA. It's definitely a significant level, and failing to hold it isn't a great sign for the bulls. But @xtheriault592, you might have a point about the RSI being a bit misleading right now. I've seen neutral RSI readings precede big moves before, especially when there's this much news driving things. This whole Iran tension thing is really making gold volatile, it's hard to rely on just pure technicals. It feels like smart money is playing games. Are we sure it's not just a liquidity grab before a bigger move?
