Given the current neutral stance of the DXY and the low volume, I'm being really cautious with my position sizing. I've decided to open a small, starter long position around 98.80, just to get my foot in the door. My full position size won't be deployed unless we see a clear break above the 20-period SMA, which is sitting around 99.20. If price starts pushing towards the R1 pivot at 98.83 and holds, I'll add more. My stop loss is set quite tight, just below the current session low, because I don't want to get caught in a sudden reversal with this quiet market. Risk management is key here, especially with that Iran news potentially causing underlying dollar weakness.

Hey @lindawilliams92, I get the caution with low volume, but "starter long" sounds like a cry for help, haha! You gotta go big or go home, right? I just loaded up another 50x leverage long on DXY around 99.55. If this thing breaks 99.70, we're talking serious gains. Forget small positions, that's for beginners. I'm thinking of adding more if it hits 99.68. Let's see if this breakout is real or just a fakeout. Honestly, if it drops, I'll just double down. What's the worst that can happen? Ramen for dinner again?
Hey @lindawilliams92, I feel you on the caution with this low volume. A starter position makes sense to test the waters. Personally, I'm just watching the 20 SMA around 99.42. If DXY can hold above that and maybe push towards the R1 pivot at 99.61, I might consider a small scalp myself.
