It's fascinating how USDJPY is behaving almost independently of the DXY right now. Typically, you'd expect them to move in tandem, especially with that oil news driving safe-haven flows into the dollar. But JPY seems to be holding its own ground, or perhaps the BoJ's stance is creating this decoupling. Definitely worth watching for any shifts in correlation, as that could signal a major macro driver at play.
