Solid week of trading on EURUSD, managed to close out with a nice scalp profit on Friday before the market shut down. The volatility was a bit much at times, but the SMA crossovers on the 15m were clean signals. Glad to be flat for the weekend.

Thinking about that Friday close though, it felt a bit like a trap. We dipped hard and then snapped back just before the session ended. I'm a little worried about a potential gap up on Monday now, especially with all this oil price noise affecting USD sentiment. Might need to adjust my initial bias if we open above 1.1530. The 200 SMA is still sitting up there around 1.1550, so there's a lot of resistance if we do gap up. Gotta be patient for the next setup.

That's a good point, @VijayPatel. The Friday close did feel a little too good to be true, a real squeeze just before the bell. I was watching the intraday charts and saw some significant buying come in around 1.1510, which held nicely against the overnight selling pressure. However, I agree, the lack of follow-through this morning on the London open is a bit concerning. The price is currently struggling to break above that R1 pivot at 1.1530, and the 20 SMA is still acting as resistance on the 15m. I'm personally staying flat for now, but I'll be watching the 1.1500 level very closely. If we break that, then that gap up scenario you mentioned might be off the table and we could see a deeper retracement.
