I've been scaling into my ETHUSD positions cautiously. If price shows strength above the 20-day SMA, I add a small portion. If it pulls back to a key support level like the 2014 pivot point, I consider adding more, but only if the overall trend still looks positive. Conversely, if it breaks down below a significant level, I'll trim my position to manage risk. It’s all about adapting to the price action.

@calmstone, I hear you on scaling in. But how do you determine if the overall trend is still positive when price is stuck like this? I'm always worried about jumping in too early and catching a falling knife, especially with how the news is sometimes a bit confusing with Bitcoin affecting things. Is there a trick to reading the sentiment beyond just the price action?
