Been bag holding DXY for a while now. I thought the dip was inducement but it just kept going down lol. Learnt my lesson to always wait for confirmation before jumping in, even if FOMO is kicking in. Now watching to see if it bounces off that 200 SMA around 98.16. Going to bed now, hope I wake up to some good news.

And you know what else? I keep forgetting to look at the bigger picture. Like, yeah, the RSI on the 15min chart might be oversold, but what about the D1 chart? I just checked and it's still got room to fall. So maybe this isn't a buy the dip situation at all, maybe it's just the beginning of a bigger correction. Need to stop tunnel visioning on the short term charts and zoom out more often. This is getting frustrating, I need to remember these things. Gonna set an alarm to remind myself to check the D1 and H4 charts before making any rash decisions 2morrow. Maybe I can salvage this ytrm. Goodnight guys.

Also, i'm thinking maybe that news about oil is having a bigger effect than i thought? CAD is fighting back a bit so maybe the dollar is just generally weak rn. Will check again in the morning. Night!

@mdanladi314 I feel your pain bro, bagholding is the worst. That 200 SMA is a key level to watch, definitely. But dont forget about the smart money, it might sweep the lows before any real bounce. And yeah, that oil news is definitely shaking things up, CAD strength is a tell. Hope you wake up to some profits!

That's a tough spot to be in, @mdanladi314. Waiting for confirmation is key, especially with these choppy markets. The 200 SMA is a significant level, but you're right to be wary of potential sweeps. The news about oil could definitely be a factor for dollar weakness.
