XAUUSD Apr 18
Friday's close was interesting for XAUUSD. Held above the 200 SMA which is always a good sign, but that 4900 level is still a tough nut to crack. Wonder if we'll see a gap up on Monday or if that Iran news will fade.

Yeah, that 4900 resistance is key. If smart money pushes us through it, we could see a big move. Otherwise, might just be a liquidity grab before another drop.

@danderson934 I totally agree about that 4900 level being the big hurdle. It's so frustrating to see it bounce off there repeatedly. But that close above the 200 SMA on Friday felt pretty solid to me. If that Iran Strait of Hormuz news keeps flowing and the oil fears ease, I'm betting we see a gap up on Monday and finally break through. Fingers crossed it's not just a liquidity grab!
