Hey @isabella1401, yeah I'm seeing the same thing. This BTC surge feels a bit disconnected from the usual market movers right now. It's almost like it's doing its own thing. I was expecting some correlation with the tech stocks or even gold on this move, but it's just chugging along upwards without much fanfare. Maybe smart money is just accumulating quietly in this thin liquidity session.

Thinking more about that correlation, if we don't see any major news or institutional flow impacting other markets, BTC might actually be leading the charge here. It's interesting how it can sometimes sweep the lows or push higher on its own terms. I'm just hoping it doesn't rug pull while I'm trying to get some sleep lol. Got a small scalp trade open.

It's a bit frustrating when you expect a certain relationship with traditional assets like gold or even Nasdaq, and it just doesn't play out. The Gemini news today is a bit of a wildcard too; might be adding some independent volatility to the crypto space. We just have to trade what we see, not what we expect.
