This reminds me a bit of how the TLT (20+ Year Treasury Bond ETF) was behaving earlier this year. Everyone was expecting rates to drop, but inflation stayed sticky and TLT kept getting rekt. Feels like the DXY is in a similar position now, where the market is ignoring the overbought conditions and just focusing on the safe-haven demand. I'm still hesitant to short it though, since momentum can carry things further than you'd think. Gotta be careful, NFA of course.
