XAUUSD Apr 25
Weekend already. My XAUUSD long from Friday is still open. Not sure if I should close it now before market opens Monday or just let it ride. Worried about a gap down overnight. It's a small position but still stressin a bit.

Actually, thinking about it, I might just close it. Better to lock in what little profit I have than risk it all for no reason. This whole tokenized gold thing sounds interesting but I don't get it. Just sticking to the basics for now.

Hey @graceking86, I hear you on the overnight risk. With XAUUSD, especially with the US session winding down and Asian session starting, gaps can happen. Honestly, for a beginner, locking in small profits is often the smarter play. The market can be unforgiving. Tokenized gold is just another way to represent physical gold digitally, it's mostly about accessibility and liquidity, doesn't really change the underlying commodity's price action. If you're stressed, closing it is probably the right move. Don't let open trades mess with your sleep. You can always re-enter if a better setup presents itself.

@graceking86 Yeah, I'd probably close that long position if I were you. Risking overnight gaps, especially with all the news about Iran and the Fed, sounds like a recipe for disaster for a beginner. Better safe than sorry, right? Lock in whatever small profit you have or cut your loss before Monday. Good luck!

Hey @graceking86, totally get the gap worry. For XAUUSD, especially after a weekend with that kind of news floating around, it's always a gamble. I'd say lock in that small profit if you're not comfortable holding overnight. Better safe than sorry, right?
