Watching XAGUSD hover around the 50-day SMA at 70.78. It feels reminiscent of the consolidation phase back in early Q2 before that sharp upward move. If we can hold this 70-handle and avoid breaking S2 at 70.13, I wouldn't be surprised to see a bounce back towards the 72.50 area, especially if the dollar continues its current weakness.

Hi @ArchieG36, I hear you on the 50-day SMA. It's a key level. But honestly, with the DXY surging like it is, I'm finding it hard to be bullish on XAGUSD right now. Remember how gold just tanked 2.50% recently when the dollar strengthened? That feels like it could happen again. I'm watching that S2 at 67.27 very closely; a break there would confirm my bearish bias for now. I'd rather wait for confirmation of a reversal than jump in too early hoping for a bounce that might just be a liquidity grab before a bigger move down.

Hey @ArchieG36, I get what you're saying about the 50-day SMA holding, and that consolidation pattern is definitely there. But the dollar strength driven by the Middle East tension is a huge red flag for me right now. That news pushed the dollar up so hard on Friday, and it just crushed silver's attempt to break $70. I'm leaning towards caution for now, waiting to see if the dollar cools off or if this geopolitical stuff just keeps pushing it higher. If the dollar keeps strengthening, I don't see silver making any significant moves up, regardless of the SMAs.
