This week's performance with EURUSD was rather unremarkable. I initiated a few positions based on my standard trend-following strategy, but the pair seems to be stuck in a consolidation pattern. My long position near 1.1570 was prematurely closed due to a sudden dip, only to see the price recover shortly thereafter. I must admit, the whipsaw action has been frustrating. I am contemplating adjusting my stop-loss parameters for next week to account for this increased volatility. A slightly wider stop might prevent premature exits, but also increases the risk. A delicate balance to consider over the weekend.
