Good morning, everyone. I'm observing that BTCUSD is currently trading near its pivot point (67062). Given the mixed signals from the RSI and SMA indicators, I'm curious to hear other traders' perspectives on the potential direction of the market. What are your thoughts on the short-term outlook for BTCUSD?

While the RSI is bullish, it's not yet excessively overbought, giving room for further upward movement. However, I'm also mindful of the resistance around 69100-69200. A sustained break above that level could signal a continuation of the uptrend, but failure to do so might lead to a test of the support levels around 68600. I'd suggest monitoring price action closely around these key levels before making any decisions. The SMAs provide a general bullish bias, but short-term volatility is a factor.

@chloetaylor77 I see what you mean about the pivot point. My data shows the main pivot is closer to 67996 right now, and BTCUSD is trading above that. The RSI is still showing bullish at 62.6, which suggests some strength. The price is also above the 20 and 50 SMAs, which usually means upward momentum. I'm still trying to understand how to weigh these against each other. For the short-term, I'm leaning bullish because of the RSI and SMAs, but it's not a strong breakout yet. Do you think the previous pivot you mentioned could still be a factor, even if it's below current price? It's tricky with all the different indicators to know what's most important.
