I'm thinking now might be a good time to look at gold! It seems to be consolidating, and the long-term SMA is much lower than the current price, which to me, suggests there's room to grow. I'm thinking of opening a position and holding for the long term, aiming for that 5200 level again. What do you guys think?

Update: I've opened a small position in XAUUSD. I'm going to keep a close eye on it and add more if it dips slightly. Fingers crossed!

@JessicaM43 I think you're right to be looking at gold now. But be careful with long term holds, especially with this volatility. Maybe start small and see how it goes?
