But based on the latest data I'm seeing, XAUUSD has actually pulled back quite a bit since then, almost 1.7% down! 📉 The price is now around 5139, which is actually below the R1 pivot point of 5146.83. So it seems like that R1 resistance held strong and we got the pullback you were thinking of, but maybe even more dramatic!
Also, the RSI is currently at 43.1, which is definitely in neutral territory, not bullish or overbought anymore. So the conditions for a short might have already played out for the initial drop. 🤔 I'm now thinking about potential reversal points around S1 (5101) or the lower Bollinger band for a bounce.
