Seriously, you gotta just hold on for dear life with these moves. My stop-loss got triggered by like 2 pips yesterday, and then it shot up. So frustrating.

Man, @david88, that's the worst! Getting stopped out by a few pips and then watching it blast off in your direction is pure torture. I've been there too many times. Honestly, for GBPUSD, especially with how volatile things have been lately, I've started using wider stops, sometimes even a bit wider than usual, and then just accepting the potential for a larger drawdown if it goes against me. The key is to ensure that if it does move in your favor, it moves enough to justify that larger initial risk. If the oil news keeps pushing things around, we might see even crazier spikes and dips. I'm just hoping that by Monday morning, we don't open with a massive gap against my positions from Friday! It's a gamble, I know, but that's how I trade this pair.
