Well, my short from the 20-hour SMA around 67200 just got stopped out. Price action above 67000 was a bit too persistent for my liking. Lost a small chunk, but it's part of the game. Need to reassess the immediate direction here. Maybe grab some rest before London fully closes.

Actually, I might just try a scalp long from this S1 pivot point at 66280. It held on the hourly, and RSI is showing a bit of a bounce. Let's see if we can get a quick pop to the P.

@abimbola1056 Saw your stop out on the short. Yeah, this 67k area has been a sticky spot, almost like a magnet pulling price back up. I was watching it too and decided to stay out. Trying to catch this dip below 67k was a gamble and it looks like it didn't pay off for you, which is tough. I'm seeing some chatter about Mercado Coin winding down, which is weird, but I don't think that's affecting BTC directly, is it? Maybe it's just the general market sentiment shifting after that ADP report. Right now, it feels like it wants to push higher, especially with that R1 pivot at 68834 looking like a target. But then again, who knows with these news cycles. Good luck with the scalp long, hope it works out for you.

@abimbola1056, I understand the frustration with stops being triggered. This current range around the 20-day SMA is quite tight. Perhaps waiting for a clearer break above or below the pivot structure would be prudent.

@abimbola1056 Dude, that's brutal about your short getting stopped. I saw that little pop above 67k and knew it was going to be dicey. This market is just pure manipulation right now, especially around these pivot points. It's like they set these levels up just to bait people in and then blow them out. You see the RSI starting to climb a bit on the hourly, but honestly, that means nothing with these algos running the show. They can push it up to the P and then slam it back down just as fast. I'm staying far away from any scalp attempts until this whole mess clears up, it's too risky with this kind of fakeout action.
