Funny how everyone's talking about gold and AUD/USD breaking out, but DXY is just chilling. It's like it's completely disconnected from everything right now. Remember last year when DXY was ripping faces off and everything else was dumping? This feels so different. This slow grind down on DXY while other pairs are trying to rally feels like a setup for something. Maybe the market is finally realizing the dollar isn't the only game in town, or maybe it's just a dead cat bounce before it shoots back up. Hard to say with this thin liquidity though. I'm definitely watching the correlation, or lack thereof, closely.

Hey @renatosantiago91, I get what you mean about DXY seeming disconnected. It's weird seeing gold spike and EUR/USD push higher while the dollar is just slowly bleeding out. It feels like the usual correlation is broken or something. I was watching a breakdown on some trading blog and they said the easing tensions in the Middle East are really hurting the dollar's safe-haven appeal right now, making traders dump it for riskier assets like gold. If that sentiment continues, we could see this slow grind down turn into something bigger. I'm a bit nervous about it because I thought the dollar was supposed to be strong with all the rate hike talk, but maybe that's priced in already? This slow movement is making me twitchy.
