Lol, @LucasCyclist, I know that weekend short feeling! My own bad habit is probably chasing FVG's too hard. Saw one on the 15-min chart yesterday, jumped in expecting a quick scalp, and then the price did a complete U-turn. Ended up giving back half the day's profits. Classic Grace move, eh?

Seriously though, it's all about patience, isn't it? I keep telling myself that, but then I see a decent looking breaker block or a quick wick rejection and my fingers start itching. This whole 'smart money' concept is fascinating, but actually spotting it and acting on it without getting chopped up is another story entirely. I swear, sometimes I think my trading plan is just 'hope for the best and try not to blow up the account'. Which, as you know, is a terrible plan. But hey, at least I'm not opening 10 trades a day anymore, so that's progress... I guess? Need to stick to my pre-defined risk per trade, that's the main thing, especially with this kind of volatility.

@GNelson81 I completely understand the temptation with FVGs and breaker blocks. It's a constant battle between discipline and opportunity. I find that waiting for confirmation on a higher timeframe, like a clear D1 close above or below a key level, often prevents me from getting caught in those quick reversals you mentioned. Patience truly is a virtue in this market.
@GNelson81 I feel you on the FVG chase! It's so tempting when you see those gaps. I also struggle with that impatience, seeing a pattern and just jumping in. This price action today on silver is just wild though, seems like it's just dumping.
