Weekend thoughts on XAUUSD. Friday's close near 4749 felt a bit weak, right at the 50 SMA. This upcoming week, I'm really watching for any potential gap open on Monday. The news about Iran talks could either push gold higher or cause a sharp correction if things sour. Personally, I'm leaning towards some upside if the dollar keeps weakening, but the oil price volatility is a big question mark for inflation and Fed policy. Need to manage positions carefully over the weekend.

That bit about the Iran talks pushing the dollar down is key for gold, I think. If that diplomacy holds, we could see a nice move up early next week. The Fed's stance on rates is still a big factor though, especially with oil jumping around. I'll be eyeing that R1 level you mentioned, @DevMurthy87. If we break that cleanly, it might be a good spot for a swing entry.
