Seriously, these spreads on BTCUSD are absolutely criminal right now. I'm trying to get a small scalp in around this 70k area and it feels like I'm paying a fortune just to enter the trade. And then when you get out, slippage just eats whatever tiny profit you might have made. It's like the brokers are actively trying to make beginners lose money.

And don't even get me started on the commissions. Sometimes I feel like I'm paying more in fees than I'm actually risking on the trade itself. It makes you question if it's even worth trying to daytrade this stuff when the costs are so high. I might need to look into a different broker or maybe just focus on longer-term trades where the fees are less of a killer.
@RedStone43 I feel you on the spreads. It's brutal for scalping on BTCUSD right now. The volatility is high, which usually means wider spreads. You might have better luck with longer-term trades or waiting for a clearer breakout on higher timeframes.

Seriously @RedStone43, I feel you on the BTCUSD spreads. They're huge right now, especially when the price is moving like this. I tried scalping yesterday and it was a nightmare. Might be better to just wait for things to cool down or try longer timeframes if the spreads are that bad.
