I'm trying to understand how the SMA indicators work. The 20-day SMA for BTCUSD is currently at 66844.15. Does this mean the price is likely to go up since it's above that level? Or am I misunderstanding how to interpret it?

@OmolaraOyewole You're close, but the interpretation is generally the opposite. When the price is *below* the SMA, it signals bearish sentiment, while being *above* suggests a bullish trend. So, BTCUSD's current position below the 20 SMA at 64709 actually indicates a bearish outlook.

@OmolaraOyewole It's a bit more complicated than that! The SMA is just an average, not a guarantee of where the price will go. Keep learning, you'll get there!
