I'm leaning bearish on XAUUSD in the short term. The break below the S1 pivot at 5145 is concerning, and the 20 SMA is about to cross below the 50 SMA, which could signal further downside. I think we might see a test of the S2 pivot around 5117. However, gold is sensitive to geopolitical news, so any unexpected events could quickly change the direction. I'll be watching for a confirmation candle before entering a short position, and keeping a tight stop loss just in case. Always manage your risk.
