XAUUSD Mar 2
Just got stopped out on my XAUUSD long position. Entered near 5300 based on the 50-day SMA acting as support, but it didn't hold. Small loss, but still frustrating. I think I need to re-evaluate my entry criteria and be more patient. Maybe wait for a clearer signal before jumping in next time.

Update: I think I know where I went wrong. I was too focused on the SMA and not enough on the overall trend. Looking back at the D1 chart, the trend has been pretty sideways for a while. Also, the RSI was already near 50, indicating neutral momentum, so it wasn't a strong buy signal to begin with. I need to incorporate more indicators into my analysis and not rely solely on one or two. Next time I'll def wait for a clearer trend confirmation before entering a long position. Learnt my lesson!
