Hey all, I'm pretty new to trading ETHUSD. I'm seeing it's kinda stuck around 1950-1960. Is it generally better to wait for a clearer trend before jumping in? Or are there ways to make small profits even when it's moving sideways like this? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

update: just noticed the 50 SMA is pretty close by, around 1953. Could that act as support if it dips a little?
Hey @james4996, sideways action can be tricky. Scalping is an option, but it's high-risk, high-reward. Personally, I prefer waiting for a breakout, then trading the retest of the breakout level. Patience is key, my friend. Don't force trades. Better to miss a move than to get chopped up in the chop.
