Honestly, my biggest trading bad habit is probably over-analyzing minor price movements. I'll stare at the 1-minute chart for an hour, convinced I see a pattern, only for the price to do the opposite. It's like I'm trying to find a symphony in random noise. Needs a serious reset.

It's funny, I was just thinking about that ADP employment data from earlier. It wasn't a huge miss, but it does suggest a slight cooling in the US labour market. If that trend continues, it could give the Fed more room to ease policy later in the year, which generally supports gold.

Hey @chloemitchell, I totally get what you mean about over-analyzing. It's so easy to get lost in the noise, especially on lower timeframes. I find myself doing the same thing sometimes, staring at the 5-min chart for ages trying to spot a perfect entry. 😩 What I've been trying to do lately is stick to my H4 and D1 charts for primary analysis and only drop down if I see a clear signal there. It helps to zoom out and not get caught up in every tiny move. Also, don't forget that sometimes the best trade is no trade at all! Easier said than done, I know. 😂
