I've learnt a valuable lesson recently regarding the importance of patience in trading. I entered a long position prematurely based on a perceived breakout, only to see the price retrace and hit my stop loss. It was a costly reminder that waiting for confirmation and aligning trades with the overall trend is crucial. The Canadian data releases are making me extra cautious. It's better to miss a potential opportunity than to jump in too early and incur unnecessary losses. Now I wait for more confirmation before entering a trade. Perhaps a more conservative approach would be more suited to me.

@jack3799 Patience is definitely important, I agree. Especially with BTC, it can be so tempting to jump in early. I've also learnt that the hard way, lol. I think waiting for the D1 candle to close above a key level is a good strategy. Also, look for confluence with indicators like RSI, if it's overbought, be careful. News also plays a big role, like that banking group challenging crypto charters, that could cause a dip. But yeah, don't give up, keep learning and manage your risk properly. We all make mistakes, it's part of the process. Just don't get rekt!
