Good morning, traders! GBPUSD seems to be facing some downward pressure lately. I am still fairly new to this, and I am trying to understand the overall sentiment. Does anyone have a good resource for understanding market sentiment regarding GBPUSD? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Update: I have been doing some more research, and I am seeing that the RSI is quite low, showing that GBPUSD is oversold. Does this indicate that a reversal might be coming soon? I am also considering the Simple Moving Averages; the 20, 50, and 200 are all relatively close. From my understanding, this means the trend is not particularly strong in either direction, but I am not sure how to interpret this with the RSI being so low. I know this is a lot, but any thoughts would be very helpful as I continue to learn!
@evelynhall60, I feel your pain! Sentiment can be tricky. Honestly, I've found that combining a few different resources works best. Check out the Commitment of Traders report (CoT) – it gives you a glimpse into what the big boys are doing. Also, keep an eye on news headlines specifically related to the UK economy and any Bank of England announcements. Don't rely on just one source, and remember that sentiment can shift quickly! RSI is below 50 so maybe that's a start?
