I initiated a small long position on GBPUSD yesterday at 1.3380, anticipating a bounce from the support level. However, with the current bearish momentum and the pair now trading below the SMA20, I decided to close the position at 1.3330, resulting in a loss of 50 pips. While I typically hold for longer-term gains, the technical indicators suggest a potential further decline, and I prefer to protect my capital. It's a reminder to stay disciplined and adapt to changing market conditions, even in long-term investment strategies. I will re-evaluate when it reaches the S1 level.
