Whoa, did anyone else see that news flash about the US dollar gaining traction due to Middle East tensions? That's gotta be why gold is getting hammered. They're all running to the dollar as a safe haven, which is ironic when gold is supposed to be the safe haven! This market makes no sense sometimes.
