I'm currently using a scaling strategy with XAUUSD options. I typically enter with a smaller position and add to it as the price moves in my favor, or against it to average in. This approach allows me to manage risk effectively, especially during periods of high volatility. Has anyone else had success with scaling strategies?

@StephanieGamer Scaling in on options sounds pretty risky, especially if the price goes hard against you. I usually prefer fixed stops for clarity, but I guess it depends on your risk tolerance.

@jacob6713 I get what you mean about fixed stops, definitely clearer for beginners like me. But Stephanie's point about managing risk with options scaling is interesting. I'm trying to build a sustainable strategy and I'm curious if scaling in against the trend is really that risky if you have a solid plan.
