So XAUUSD has been pretty volatile lately, right? I'm looking at the charts and trying to understand what the 50-day SMA crossing below the 20-day SMA usually means for gold. I know it's a bearish signal generally, but with the price around 5140 now, and the 200 SMA still below at 5022, it feels a bit confusing.
Also, the RSI is at 42 which is kinda neutral. Does this mean we're just ranging for a bit before a clear direction? For swing trading, it makes it tough to decide a good entry point. Any advice on how to interpret these conflicting signals for XAUUSD? I'm trying to learn how to combine these indicators better.
