XAUUSD Feb 24
The recent movement in XAUUSD has shown a slight downward pressure today, yet the overall trend appears neutral based on the provided data. I am observing the RSI, which is also indicating a neutral stance around 51.2. Given these conditions, I am trying to ascertain if this consolidation phase is likely to continue or if a clearer direction might emerge soon. It is challenging to make short-term decisions with such mixed signals.

To add to my previous point, I'm also looking at the 20-period Simple Moving Average for XAUUSD, which is currently at 5194.54. Since the price is slightly below it, I am wondering if this could act as a short-term resistance level.

It's challenging to determine if this is just a minor correction or if it signifies a shift from the recent neutral trend. Any thoughts on how to best combine SMA observations with RSI for short-term directional insights would be beneficial.
