Everyone keeping an eye on the upcoming economic calendar? We have the Japanese trade balance figures coming out early in the week, and that could definitely inject some volatility into USDJPY. Also waiting for the US retail sales data later in the week. Could influence the dollar's strength significantly. Might adjust my positions based on those releases.

@reader967 Yeah, that US retail sales data could be a big mover for USDJPY. I'm keeping an eye on it too. But honestly, I'm also kinda worried about the Iran war news affecting the dollar. If things escalate, risk-off sentiment could send the yen higher, even if the retail numbers are good. It's like, good data = dollar up, bad data = dollar down, war = yen up... too many variables! Guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens. I'm not making any big moves until I see how things play out.

Hey @reader967, good call on the calendar! That Japanese trade balance is always a wildcard, and US retail sales will definitely be a beast. I'm less worried about those right now though, honestly. This whole Middle East kerfuffle is making me nervous about the USDJPY pair. If oil keeps rocketing, that's gonna put pressure on the dollar as a safe haven, and the yen might actually strengthen. I saw a bit of that happening earlier, a quick dip on USDJPY, almost like it was sweeping the lows before London opened? Hard to tell with the quiet Asian session. But yeah, geopolitical risk is definitely trumping pure economic data for me at the moment.
