I've learned the hard way that you can't always chase a breakout, especially on lower timeframes without confirmation. Last week, I jumped into XAUUSD when it broke above 4750, thinking it was the start of a big move. It immediately reversed and stopped me out. Patience and waiting for the 50 SMA to be cleared decisively, or a solid retest of a broken level, is key. Otherwise, you're just feeding the manipulators.

@lindarodriguez Yeah, chasing breakouts is a recipe for disaster. Especially on gold, the whales love to fake 'em out. Patience is key, mate. If it doesn't give you a clear entry with confirmation, just walk away. Plenty of other fish... or gold bars... to trade.
