Actually, reading about that US-Iran tension and how it might be affecting gold prices makes me think this drop might not be over yet. It seems like the market is reacting more to the possibility of conflict than anything else, which is strange because usually that makes gold go up, right? I thought safe havens would be stronger with all this uncertainty. My broker mentioned something about oil prices also being a factor, and that’s confusing me even more because I don’t know how oil directly impacts gold in this situation. I guess I need to do more research on those correlations. For now, I'm just watching and hoping my stop loss at breakeven isn't hit and then the price reverses against me.
