Seriously, these spreads are killing me. I tried to get into a small long position earlier when it looked like gold was moving up on that news, but the slippage was awful. I ended up paying way more than I wanted, and then the spread just widened even more. It feels like the brokers are taking their cut no matter what. Makes it so hard to make any real profit when you start off already behind.

Ugh, @ZenithX17, tell me about it! Those spreads are brutal, especially during choppy times like this. It’s like they’re actively trying to screw us over. I saw that little move up on the news and thought about jumping in, but then I saw the spread widen to like, 50 pips. No thanks. I’d rather wait for a clearer setup. You get caught paying way over your entry, and then if it goes against you even a little bit, you’re already deep in the red. It’s almost like they’re punishing us for trying to trade. Seriously, I'm thinking of switching brokers if this keeps up. It's ridiculous.
