XAGUSD Mar 12
Good morning, everyone! I'm seeing a potential bullish flag forming on the hourly chart for XAGUSD. RSI is still below 60, leaving room for upward momentum. Anyone else noticing this setup? I'm considering a long position if we break above 87.20 with confirmation from volume. Thoughts?

@MelissaGreen That bullish flag on the hourly chart is interesting. I'm still learning about chart patterns, but I see what you're referring to. What volume confirmation are you looking for specifically? Is there a certain level it needs to reach to validate the breakout above 87.20? I'm trying to better understand how to use volume in my analysis.

@MelissaGreen I see that flag too, but with the DXY so strong,, I'm hesitant to golong. Maybe wait for a pullback to 86.80 before entering? Just my 2 cents.

@MelissaGreen I hear you on looking for that bullish flag, but honestly, I'm not seeing it right now on XAGUSD. This price action feels more like inducement to me. We've seen these little pops before that just get sold off hard. With DXY still strong like @jlee892 mentioned, and RSI looking pretty beat up down at 30, I’d be very careful going long here. I’m looking for a break of that S2 support at 76.37, and if that happens, I reckon we’ll see a much bigger move down. Maybe look for shorts instead if it breaks.
