Just closed out a short I opened yesterday around 4650. I was expecting a bit more follow-through after that initial dip on the news about inflation fears, but the price just bounced back harder than anticipated. I’d set my SL just above the R2 pivot at 4645, and sure enough, it got triggered overnight during this quiet session. Lost about 0.7% on that trade. It’s frustrating because the macro setup seemed right, but the liquidity is so thin right now, it’s making precise entries and exits difficult. I’m going to sit on the sidelines for a bit and see if things clear up, maybe wait for a move back below the 4600 mark.
