Just jumped in on gold around 5015. Saw that little dip earlier and the news about Iran tensions is still lingering. Moving my SL to breakeven at 5020 now. Hoping for a push towards R1 at 5013.47, but honestly, this price action is a bit choppy. Fingers crossed it doesn't turn into another bag holder situation.

Okay, so that 5020 SL protection didn't hold. Just got stopped out for a small loss. Honestly, the price action is so messy right now. News the news are pulling it in opposite directions. Might just sit out for a bit and wait for clearer signals or maybe some German ZEW data reaction to settle.
@G_Scott Yeah, that stop-out is rough, especially when you're trying to protect gains or limit losses. This XAUUSD price action has been really choppy today, not ideal for clear entries. The geopolitical news is definitely creating some whipsaws, pulling it up and down without much conviction. I saw that dip earlier too, but the 200-day SMA at 4892 is still a long way off, and the 50-day is acting as resistance near 4515. Might be worth waiting for a cleaner break above the 4439 pivot point before considering another entry.
