So the jobs report was crazy strong, huh? That dollar strength is making me a bit nervous about GBPUSD for Monday open. Anyone else thinking we might see a big gap down if the dollar keeps this momentum? Gotta set those alerts for sure.

Actually, thinking about it more, maybe that strong jobs number could be a double-edged sword for USD pairs. Could it also mean the Fed hikes more and slows the economy SOONER, leading to a USD pullback later? 🤔 Just spitballing here.

@thandeka3361 I hear your concern about that jobs data and the potential for a gap down on Monday. It's definitely a valid worry, especially seeing how the dollar surged. However, I'm not entirely convinced it's a one-way street for USD strength. That RSI on GBPUSD is screaming oversold at 30.4. Historically, when it gets that low, we often see a sharp reversal, even if it's just a short squeeze. The Fed might be hawkish, but if that strong jobs number leads to fears of a recession down the line, it could actually weaken the dollar later. I'm leaning towards a potential gap UP if anything, or at least a quick bounce off those Friday lows around 1.3185. We'll have to wait and see how the market digests it all.
