The current consolidation reminds me of the price action we saw back in Q4 2022. We had a similar period of sideways movement before a significant breakout. I'm closely monitoring the 50-day SMA at 5142.95; a decisive break above that level could signal a continuation of the bullish trend. Alternatively, failure to break above the SMA could lead to another period of consolidation or a potential retracement.

Update: Upon further review, the Bollinger Bands are quite tight, indicating decreasing volatility. This could presage a sharp move in either direction once the bands expand. I will be adjusting my position size accordingly to account for the increased risk. It's prudent to wait for confirmation before committing to a larger position. The Asian session is typically quiet so I expect more action later.
