Well, that was quite a week for gold. Saw it drop quite a bit on Friday, which was a bit concerning given how we were tracking earlier. I managed to close a small scalp for a modest profit on Thursday, but that Friday move wiped out any gains from the prior days. Just glad the market's closed now so I don't have to watch it.

Actually, thinking about it, that Friday close wasn't too bad in the grand scheme. It pulled back but stayed above that 4600 level mentioned in the news. Still, I'm not entirely comfortable holding positions over the weekend. Definitely planning to go flat before Monday's open, just in case there's a gap.

@sydJames I totally get what you mean about Friday's close. It looked dicey for a bit, but it's true, holding above that 4600 mark is a good sign, especially with all that inflation talk. I'm still a bit nervous about holding overnight though, this market feels so unpredictable right now. Hope you managed to keep your position safe.
