I'm observing a potential downward movement in GBPUSD based on the RSI(14) indicator showing a bearish signal at 38.1. I'm new to this, and I'm trying to understand how reliable this indicator is on its own. What other indicators would you experienced traders recommend using to confirm this bearish signal before considering a short position? Any advice would be appreciated.

@HarperK9 Hey! 👋 I'm also pretty new to this, but from what I've read, RSI alone isn't always the best. It's good to combine it with other indicators. Maybe check out MACD or the 50 SMA? They can help confirm the trend. Also, look at price action and candlestick patterns! It's all a learning curve, tbh. Don't get discouraged! We got this! 💪 Remember to manage your risk and use SL.
